About Magasouba Mariama
Ms Magasouba Mariama Diallo was born on September 30, 1965 in Kédougou.
She is a community development woman who began serving her community in 2007 in the field of health, raising awareness and supporting pregnant women in prenatal consultations (CPN) and childbirth.
It also provided vaccinations and accompanied children to health facilities using its own resources.
Madame Magasouba Mariama Diallo has made a major contribution to reducing maternal, neonatal and infant mortality in the region. It was named BAJENU GOX by the people of Kédougou in 2010. She is also BG’s regional president from 2010 to the present. She is a local councillor. She represented the Kédougou region at the Salon de l’Agriculture in Paris and at the Festival International des Ethnies Minoritaires in France. Ms Magasouba Mariama Diallo has become president of the women’s group le《Markala》which is involved in processing local products in the kédougou region. She has benefited from several regional and national training courses in the fields of health and women’s entrepreneurship.
